New York State Police troopers arrested Catskill resident Carlos Graham, 31, on Thursday following a year-long investigation that was launched in January 2017 following the disappearance of Brandyn Foster.
The investigation - which was conducted by State Police, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, town of Woodstock Police, the Ulster County District Attorney’s Office, the Greene County District Attorney’s Office, and the Ulster County Sheriff's Office - led to the recovery of Foster’s body, which was buried on a property on Tool House Road in Catskill.
Police said Foster was buried on his own property, and his death was ruled a homicide following an autopsy. The investigation led law enforcement officials to Graham, who was taken into custody at a private residence on Thursday.
Graham was charged with second-degree murder, a felony. He was arraigned in the Town of Cairo Court and remanded to the Greene County Jail without bail. Graham is due back in court later this year to answer the charges.
